shutter replacement project schedule

Dear Regency Residents,

 

Attached is the proposed schedule for Regency's Hurricane Shutter Replacement Project. The schedule as written, will give you an idea of when your balcony areas will be under construction.  This schedule doesn't reflect possible weather events or construction delays (should any arise).    

 

All items need to be removed from your balcony before shutter removal begins.  You will see each stack's removal of shutters schedule on the attached document.  Balcony usage will be restricted during the time your stack is under construction which includes the removal of old shutters, painting of exposed areas, and installation of new shutters. 

 

The 06 stack in each building will be the model.  Once completed, the present schedule may change as we will have a real time frame per stack.

 

Residents in the 06, 04, 03, and 01 stacks can move east side balcony furniture to their west side balcony.  Staff can provide a new tarp for interior storage, and will be available to help move items.  If you are in the 06 or 05 stack and will need assistance, you must contact the office prior to 2:PM on Friday, February 27th. 

 

If you are in an 05 or 02 unit, and have extenuating circumstances regarding your balcony items, please phone the office or email me.  We are working on a very temporary solution for you.

 

Stacks 04, 03, 02 will receive notice when scaffolding installation is scheduled within the next week.  Units ending in 01 will be the last stack staged and prior notice will be provided. 

 

CLOSED:  For safety reasons, from north to south, the grassy area on the east side of Regency property will be closed between the building and the landside of the dune. 

    Building #1 - the north end will be blocked at the ground level framing of the pool crossover and the south end will be blocked at the east side of the delivery drive abutting the grass.  Dog Walk area will not be closed.  

    Building #2 - The south end will be blocked at the ground level framing of the pool crossover and the north end will be blocked at the east side of the delivery drive abutting the grass at curb.  The Dog Walk area will not be closed.

 

A question arose about the hurricane shutter replacement project scheduling as it pertains to seasonal owners and their guests.  All parties involved looked at a later project commencement but it was not possible due to Hurricane Season beginning June 1st.
