Shutter Update #27

April 9, 2015

For safety reasons no one is permitted on east side balconies in the 06, 05, 04, 03, and 02 stacks during work days, 8:AM  - 4:30PM. 

 

All items on the 02 balconies must be removed as work has begun on the 03 stack.  PVC is being placed in slider tracks to remind Residents in the 02 stack to stay off their balcony between 8:AM - 4:30PM.    If you need assistance moving balcony items, please phone the office for  assistance.

 

Definitions 

Taken down:  This means when shutter blades & tracks are no longer installed on your balcony.

Removed:  This means when old shutters are taken off of your balcony.

 

NOTE: Old shutters will be removed from each balcony when new shutters are placed for installation.

 

ESS & RID inspections are done prior to phoning SLC for Final Inspection.  ESS & RID inspected all units in Bldg 1 / 06 & today, April 9th, in Bldg 2 / 06. 

The inspection included closing, locking, and re-opening every set of shutters, in addition to checking caulking, fasteners, and cleanliness. 

 

Building #1:

06 stack 

~~~all installations complete

~~~RID & ESS Final Inspection complete

~~~SLC FINAL INSPECTION will be complete by the end of the week.

05 stack 

~~~PH5 shutter installation complete

~~~1205 shutter installation complete

~~~1105 shutter installation complete

~~~1005 shutter installation complete

~~~905 shutter installation complete

~~~805 shutter installation 70% complete

~~~305 shutter installation complete  

~~~LN5 shutter installation complete

~~~LN - PH new shutters have been placed and old shutters removed

~~~JB completed painting

04 stack

~~~PH4 - LN4 inclusive JB pressure washed, patch / stucco repair complete

~~~PH - LN JB painting complete

~~~PH - LN caulking inspection complete

~~~LN - PH shutter take down complete

~~~LN - PH old shutter removal beginning on Monday, April 13th when the new shutters are scheduled for delivery and placement.

03 stack

~~~LN - 8 inclusive taken down 

~~~503 JB pressure washed, patch / stucco repair

~~~403 JB pressure washed, patch / stucco repair

~~~303 JB pressure washed, patch / stucco repair

~~~LN JB pressure washed, patch / stucco repair

 

Building #2:

06 stack - RID & ESS Final Inspection today, Thursday, April 9th 

~~~All shutters inspected

NOTE:  The inspection included closing, locking, and re-opening every set of shutters, in addition to checking caulking, fasteners, and cleanliness. 

05 stack - shutter installation begins Thursday, April 9th

~~~PH5 shutter installation 90% complete

~~~LN5 through 1105 & PH new shutters placed on each balcony 

~~~JB painting, scope of work complete including pressure washing

        & patch / stucco repair 

04 stack

~~~704 shutter installation complete

~~~LN - PH inclusive shutters taken down 

~~~LN - 7 old shutters removed; new placed 

~~~8 - PH tomorrow - new shutter delivery; removal (old);  placement (new)

~~~caulking inspection complete

~~~JB painting, scope of work complete including pressure washing,

        & patch / stucco repair 

03 stack - caulking inspection Thursday, April 9th

~~~LN3 - PH3 inclusive taken down

~~~JB pressure washed from PH down to 5

 

 

PVC has been placed into all 02, 03, 04, 05 and 06 slider tracks to remind guests, realtors, and even residents, not to use the east side balcony. 

 

NOTE CHANGE:  Walt is assigned to Building #1 and Dave is assigned to Building #2 to check areas for security, cleanliness, and safety daily, throughout the project.
