Shutter Update #30

01 UNITS - at this time Expert Shutters has a call into Safway Rigging to move staging to the 01 stack.  Once I have that day / date, all residents in 01 will be notified to remove all east side balcony items and to stay off of your balcony between 8AM - 4:30PM Monday through Friday. 

 

06 UNITS - although your shutter installation is complete, please stay off of your balcony from 8:AM - 4:30PM while ESS is still installing on the 05 stack.   

 

SLC FINAL INSPECTIONS - the Final Inspection of each set of shutters by SLC is being coordinated per stack rather that several units at a time.  If you are in residence, you will be notified of the date the inspector and I will be checking your shutters.

 

For safety reasons no one is permitted on east side balconies in the 06, 05, 04, 03, and 02 stacks during work days, 8:AM  - 4:30PM. 

 

02 shutter removal began April 13th.  There should be NO items on the balcony areas in that stack. 

 

PVC has been placed in slider tracks to remind Residents in the 02 stack to stay off their balcony between 8:AM - 4:30PM.    If you need assistance moving balcony items, please phone the office for  assistance.

 

Definitions 

Taken down:  This means when shutter blades & tracks are no longer installed on your balcony.

Removed:  This means when old shutters are taken off of your balcony.  Old shutters will be removed from each balcony when new shutters are placed for installation.

 

ESS & RID inspections are done prior to phoning SLC for Final Inspection.  ESS & RID inspected all shutter installations in Bldg 1 and Bldg 2 / 06 stacks. Inspections included closing, locking, and re-opening every set of shutters, in addition to checking caulking, fasteners, and cleanliness.

03 stack

Building #2:

~~~County inspection started

~~~RID & ESS Final Inspection Thursday, April 9th 

NOTE:  The inspection included closing, locking, and re-opening every set of shutters, in addition to checking caulking, fasteners, and cleanliness. 

05 stack

~~~PH5 shutter installation complete

~~~1205 pending tile replacement

~~~1105 shutter installation complete

~~~1005 shutter installation 85% complete

~~~LN5 through 1105 & PH new shutters placed on each balcony 

~~~JB painting, scope of work complete including pressure washing

       & patch / stucco repair 

04 stack

~~~704 shutter installation complete

~~~LN - PH inclusive shutters taken down 

~~~LN - PH old shutters removed; new shutters placed 

03 stack

~~~LN3 - PH3 inclusive taken down

~~~PH - LN  pressure washing complete

~~~PH - LN stucco scraped & patched

~~~PH - LN painting complete  

~~~caulking inspection was April 9th

 

PVC has been placed into all 02, 03, 04, 05 and 06 slider tracks to remind guests, realtors, and even residents, not to use the east side balcony. 

 

NOTE CHANGE:  Walt is assigned to Building #1 and Dave is assigned to Building #2 to check areas for security, cleanliness, and safety daily, throughout the project.
