Shutter Update # 53

Dear Regency Residents,

 

The project is coming together and once completed there will be information which you will receive regarding the new shutter system.

 

Although your unit may be listed as "shutter installation complete", it does not mean it is safe to use your balcony.  You will be notified after FINAL INSPECTION when items can safely be placed back onto your balcony.     

 

BUILDING #1, 03 STACK - Monday, May 18th the staging will be moved to your west side balcony.  Please remove items from the west side and place them onto the east side balcony which had the Final Inspection done today.  If you need Staff assistance, please notify the office by noon on Monday.

 

BUILDING #1 

CROSSOVER TO THE POOL WILL BE CLOSED from 8:AM to 4:30PM, Monday - Friday.  Construction will begin again on the 01 EAST STACK.  PLEASE USE THE GROUND LEVEL EXIT WHEN GOING TO THE BEACH OR POOL AREA DURING THIS TIME.

FOR YOUR PROTECTION, A COVERED WALKWAY HAS BEEN ERECTED at the NORTHWEST CORNER of each BUILDING.   

This will allow for SAFE PASSAGE through each building's NORTH GROUND LEVEL EXIT.

 

 

PLEASE DO NOT PLACE ITEMS ONTO YOUR EAST SIDE BALCONY IF YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED A NOTICE THAT IT IS SAFE TO DO SO. 

 

RID / ESS FINAL INSPECTION    

ESS & RID inspections include closing, locking, and re-opening every set of shutters, in addition to checking caulking, fasteners, and cleanliness. 

   

SLC FINAL INSPECTIONS / SIGN OFF - the Final Inspection of each set of shutters by SLC is being coordinated per stack rather than several units at a time.   If you are in residence, you will be notified when the inspector and Regency Staff will inspect your shutters. 

 

Definitions 

Taken down:  This means when shutter blades & tracks are no longer installed on your balcony.

Removed:  This means when old shutters are taken off of your balcony.  Old shutters will be removed from each balcony when new shutters are placed for installation.

 

If you notice anything which warrants attention after hours, please call Security ASAP.
